I've been submitting a lot of fanart lately, hm? This one was done in early March along with two other couples who also have not been submitted yet His skin is way too dark but... it would be very tricky to fix now.

This is an updated version of my old painting from The Little Mermaid: Return to the Sea, of Ariel's daughter Melody and the merboy she met [link] I was having a conversation with ~esty and the Beach Boys song about "wouldn't it be nice if we were older, we wouldn't have to wait so long" made me think of drawing the pair as teenagers, though they turned out more like young twenty-something-year-olds. Figures, that's how old I am and the poses were definately heavily based on personal cuddling experiences - though my boy doesn't have fins
